Jazzing it up
Gibsons folks enjoyed some wonderful music this weekend at the Gibsons Landing Jazz Festival. The day started out cold but soon the music warmed everything up, including the weather. deer crossing set up a booth with the usual artwork, masks, wings and signs, with a few new additions. A flock of birds created by Sandy Buck flew nearby the deer crossing tent, and a volunteer information sign encouraged people to consider volunteering with Synchronicity (if you’re interested please contact Robin at robin@deercrossingtheartfarm.org). We enjoyed the duration of the festival, handing out feather shaped brochures and signing on new volunteers for Synchronicity! We are all very excited to get to know new people and to work with volunteers from previous years. At the end of the day we drew a name out of a hat and the lucky winner was Keenan Graham! Keenan won a beautifully decorated Synchronicity bag. Congrats Keenan! Looking forward to seeing you at Synchronicity in a few short months!
