Red Transect - red vertical poles set up in a line east - west oriented. The path will run in the future along the whole property, at regular intervals.  In ecology, a transect is a methodological tool for the study of a territory; a path along which one records and counts occurences of the phenomenon being studied.  On the art farm, the red markers - a sculpture work with a painter's touch - points to an aethetic approach to the study and use of landscape.
