The Farm

The art farm is a growing project. For now, lodging facilities include a two room cabin, four campsites, composting toilet, shower, wood-stove and two out-door fire-pits. Our garden and forest provides fruit and vegetables for participants through the summer months. Group cooking and eating facilities are in the main house.  While eventually the art farm hopes to host up to 12 - 15 artists at any one time, for now we are equipped for small groups. Single artists applying for residencies should be comfortable with solitary life on the edge of wilderness. Small groups should be comfortable with sharing bathroom and kitchen space.

Creation space includes a 500 square foot studio, a toolshed/workshop, and space in the cabin for writing and other solitary work.  Performance and gallery space, for now, are outdoor only - including the Rainforest Gallery and the Laurel Spiral.  This summer, we will be creating a terrace by the old maple tree for an alternate outdoor venue.
